These are soft, chewy cubes of licorice with a salmiak (ammonium chloride / salty) flavour, lightly dusted with sugar.
A soft, sugar coated brown licorice candy that is often referred to as Brown Sponge Candy.
These semi-sweet, jelly-like morsels perfectly blend flavourful licorice extract, salmiak, and aniseed.
As with many salmiak licorice treats: very strong salty-licorice flavour.
If you enjoy salty/licorice-rich sweets (especially Dutch “drop” style), this is a solid pick. If you’re new to salmiak licorice or generally prefer mild sweets, it might be much stronger than you expect.
Packaging: sold by weight (loose) into clear sealed and labelled plastic bag to the selected weight or factory prepacked as pictured.
