Venco Dutch Licorice Coin Muntendrop
These are coin-shaped black licorice sweets from the Dutch brand Venco, marketed under the name “Muntendrop” (which literally means “coin‐licorice” in Dutch).
Chewy, firm texture, shaped like a coin, with a “full, balanced taste of pure licorice extract, herbal aroma and salmiak (ammonium chloride)”.
If you enjoy licorice (especially Dutch “drop”), this is a quality example: good texture, distinct licorice flavour, and the coin‐shape adds a bit of fun.
Dutch licorice tends to be stronger in flavour than typical licorice candies you might find in some other countries. If you’re new to “drop”, it could be intense.
