Baci® Perugina® Extra Dark 70% is a refined combination dedicated to dark chocolate lovers.

The soft inner made of hazelnut and caramelized chopped cocoa nibs, the ever-present whole hazelnut, carefully selected and toasted and covered by an intense 70% extra dark chocolate gives a moment of pure and persistent pleasure.

The wrapper is black illuminated by precious golden stars and inside, the inevitable, the love note, hides a sweet message.

Perugina is an Italian brand, specialized in chocolate production. Everything starts in 1907 in Perugia, when a confectionery workshop destined to become one of the biggest food industries was created: La Società Perugina.

Perugina chocolate is produced from the recipe of Luisa Spagnoli, a founder of Perugina and creator of a unique chocolate and brand heritage.

The story behind this small chocolate starts in 1922, when Luisa Spagnoli wanted to create a chocolate from processing waste. This Baci chocolate with gianduia chocolate, hazelnut crumbs and a whole hazelnut, all covered in dark chocolate is now on of the most iconic Italian chocolate.

Initially the Baci Perugina chocolate was supposed to be in the shape of a fist, but it was later changed to the shape of two lovers kissing, inspired by Hayez’s famous kiss, indeed “”bacio”” means “”kiss””.

The chocolates are repacked from a bulk supply and come in a plain packaging.

Ingredients: cocoa mass, sugar, HAZELNUTS 18%, caramelized chopped cocoa nibs 7% [cocoa nibs, sugar, anhydrous butter (MILK)], cocoa butter, anhydrous butter (MILK), MILK powder, emulsifier lecithins, natural vanilla flavouring. Cocoa solids: 70% minimum in the dark chocolate. MAY CONTAIN OTHER NUTS.

GLUTEN FREE.
