These are coin-shaped Dutch chewy licorice candies.
The flavour style: salmiak / salty licorice (i.e., licorice + ammonium chloride for a salty / tangy “drop” taste) in the form of “coins” (“Duiten”/“Poen” mean old Dutch coin / money).
Diameter ~ 2.8 cm and thickness ~ 0.5cm.
If you like salty licorice (which is quite an acquired taste), these offer an authentic Dutch “drop” experience.
