This classic double salty Licorice is firm and chewy and given quite a strong taste: licorice extract with ammonium chloride salt.
The small candies with hard texture and intense flavor are exactly what you expect as a Licorice lover of double salt.
These are round‑discs of Dutch licorice (“drop”) with a strong salty flavour — they’re from the “double salt” category (Dutch: dubbel zout).
Firm, chewy discs with the letters “DZ” embossed (standing for Dubbel Zout = “double salt”).
For licorice lovers (especially of the Dutch “drop” variety) this hits a flavour profile you won’t find everywhere: deep licorice + intense salt/“salmiak” flavour.
Authentic Dutch confectionery heritage — gives it a certain “specialty” / imported feel.
