Godard Duck Stew Pot-au-Feu 1400g

This Duck Stew or Pot au Feu is delicious. Pot au Feu is a traditional French dish of slowly boiled meat and vegetables in bouillon, usually served as two courses: first the broth and then the meat and vegetables. The dish is common throughout France, and has many regional variations using the best regional ingredients on-hand. The best-known have beef as the main meat, but in this case it is prepared with duck legs which is more traditional in the South-West of France where duck is plentiful!

This is a very natural dish, the stock has a delicious flavour and the tender meat and vegetables really are top quality, and taste great – just like a home cooked dish. It’s very much an old fashioned French dish. We love it!

To serve, just pour the contents into a saucepan and warm very gently. Serve with boiled potatoes.

Ingredients: Duck stock (water, duck carcass, carrot, turnip, leek, clove), 2 fatty duck legs 28.5%, carrots, cabbage, duck gizzards, turnips leeks, pork chest, poultry, white background (wheat, celery), salt, pepper.
